For those of you struggling countless hours on displaying your emotions, ideas, and creativeness through art in any form... I bring you the definitive guide to getting your hard earned work displayed as a daily deviation here at deviantART.
STEP 1 Draw something... doesn't matter what... just draw something... even in paint. Spend less than 5 minutes on it. STEP 2 This is the most important step so take note... note +ekud and ask him to feature it as a DD... Since you worked on your deviation a whole 5 minutes it deserves the most attention ever. This is merely to poke fun, no harm no foul.  All joking aside - if you want a DD, then you're in it for the wrong reasons. Just take time with every piece you do... make it the best it can be to your ability. Only you can decide if your work is "finished" or not. Don't let others discourage you, and by all means don't take this "tutorial" seriously. Comments
